Ready to give your streaming setup a boost? Cyber Monday is a great time to upgrade your streaming player — we’ve spotted strong deals from Amazon and Roku and are watching for discounts on Apple TV 4K, Nvidia Shield, and Google Chromecast (including the new Google TV streamer). We’ll update as more deals go live.
Updated December 2, 2024: Latest streaming player deals added. Also check Cyber Monday discounts on home security cameras, video doorbells, Philips Hue smart lights, and more.
Best deals on Amazon Fire TV players
– Amazon Fire TV Stick HD — $17.99 (49% off)
– Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K — $21.99 (56% off)
– Amazon Fire TV Cube (3rd gen) — $99.99 (29% off)
Both the Fire TV Stick HD and the Fire TV Stick 4K were released about a month ago, yet are already seeing large discounts. The Fire TV Cube (3rd gen) remains a solid pick if you want hands-free Alexa control and cable-box voice commands.
Best deals on Roku players
– Roku Express 4K+ — $24 (40% off)
– Roku Streaming Stick 4K — $29 (42% off)
– Roku Ultra LT — $57 (19% off)
– Roku Ultra (2024) — $79 (21% off)
– Roku Streambar SE — $69 (31% off)
The Roku Express 4K+ at $24 is an excellent value; the Roku Streaming Stick 4K adds Dolby Vision for only a few dollars more. Roku Ultra now includes a backlit remote at a discount; the Ultra LT is cheaper by trimming a few features (like the USB port). The Streambar SE combines a compact soundbar with a built-in Roku player for small rooms.
Note: We skipped Roku’s cheapest models (Roku LE and Roku Express) because, as noted by columnist Jared Newman, they’re underpowered for the price—spending a few dollars more gets a much better experience.
