This post is all about Jio Phone — a budget 4G-enabled handset available for a refundable security deposit of Rs. 1,500.
Reliance Industries launched the low-cost JioPhone to attract tens of millions of low-income users to its telecom service. The handset will “effectively cost zero” because buyers can get it for a one-time refundable deposit of Rs. 1,500.
JioPhone was available for trial from August 15 and for pre-booking from August 24.

Reliance Jio offered unlimited data on the phone for Rs. 153 per month.
Additional regular phone features include FM radio, torch light, headphone jack, SD card slot, and inbuilt ringtones.
